Haida Gwaii and Wah-ila-toos Indigenous Council member

Sean is the Implementation Manager for Tll Yahda Energy on Haida Gwaii. From the Ts’aahl Laanaas Eagle Clan, and has been working towards Haida sovereignty his whole career. Sean sits on the Wahilatoos Council with Natural Resources Canada, an Indigenous Clean Energy Catalyst from 2022, and energy champion for Haida Gwaii. Tll Yahda Energy has recently built the 2MW Solar North project at the Masset airport, and is currently about to do the 2MW expansion of Solar North. as well as overseeing an energy efficiency retrofit program that looks at all housing in Masset and Skidegate on Haida Gwaii, district heating in Old Massett, BC, and a geo-exchange project in Skidegate, BC.  A proud father of three, Sean spends most of his days off fishing and gathering traditional foods, in and around Haida Gwaii.
