Jim Tait is the Senior Director of Energy for Batchewana First Nation, where he leads efforts to develop and deliver energy initiatives that support financial independence, build internal capacity, and reflect the Nation’s long-term priorities. His work is grounded in collaboration, transparency, and a commitment to creating practical solutions that benefit the community.  With over 15 years of experience in energy infrastructure, construction management, and organizational development, Jim has worked with leading corporations across Ontario in both technical and leadership roles. He brings a steady, team-oriented approach to project planning and execution, with a focus on safety, performance, and respectful partnerships.  Jim is dedicated to ensuring that energy-related projects align with Batchewana First Nation’s values and contribute meaningfully to its future.
