Smoketrail Singers are a traditional singing drum group out of Alderville First Nation and the surrounding area. Members of the drum group represent the Ojibwe, Mississauga, Dakota, and Potowatomi Nations.
The group is a family drum of fathers, sons, daughters, and grandchildren that has been singing and traveling throughout North America for 25-30 years. The group has won numerous singing/drum competitions at different celebrations across North America and is a two-time nominated Indigenous People's Choice Awards group for best traditional album and the winner of the 2011 Canadian Aboriginal Music Award for best tradition album titled "A Long Red Road".
