Since 2019, Justin has been supporting the delivery of projects to support Canada’s clean energy transition with the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB). His work focuses on advancing economic reconciliation through investments in renewables, transmission and energy storage that deliver long-term community benefits, capacity building, and sustainable development. Justin has played a key role in milestone financings such as CIB’s first Indigenous equity loan and its first investment in Nunavut.
Justin has over 8 years of financial advisory and project finance experience. Prior to joining the CIB, he advised Indigenous communities on investments in energy infrastructure projects with PricewaterhouseCoopers, including the landmark Wataynikaneyap Transmission Project in northern Ontario where 24 First Nations Communities worked together to bring 17 remote communities off-diesel. He is committed to fostering partnerships that empower Indigenous communities to shape and benefit from Canada’s sustainable energy future.
