Brooke McLeod is the Community Energy Champion for Moose Cree First Nation, where she supports and leads clean energy initiatives that advance both sustainability and sovereignty. Her work includes leading the Nation’s own biomass utility, JB Aski, which reduces reliance on fossil fuels while creating local capacity and economic opportunity, as well as setting new pathways for energy efficiency and conservation.

Inspired by her community’s vision to keep traditions and values alive, Brooke is committed to engaging community members in shaping the decisions that impact their clean energy future. She believes Moose Cree’s homelands hold tremendous opportunity, and through her role she is helping build a strong foundation that will serve her Nation for generations to come
