Nipissing First Nation

Vince Galea is the Community Energy Champion for Nipissing First Nation. In his role he works with the Economic Development Department to build EcDev capacity as well as assist with community-led energy projects and planning for upcoming renewable energy generations solutions. He recently earned his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation through the Canadian Institute for Energy Training (CEIT). Over the past eight months as CEC, Vince has focused on practical, investable solutions—energy audits, project readiness, and infrastructure initiatives—that reduce costs, grow local skills, and create long-term value for NFN.

Previously, Vince spent over 7 years as a Business Development Advisor with The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound, supporting entrepreneurs through coaching, workshops, and grant programs. Blending business and financial planning with his recent energy-sector expertise, he brings both business and community insights to help turn plans into projects.
