Tom is one of Canada’s sustainability and renewable energy leaders. For 20 years, Tom has run and advised a broad range of companies in the energy transition space, including renewable electricity, renewable fuels, electrification of transportation and heating, and carbon offsets and credits. Tom founded Bullfrog Power in 2004, which became a household energy brand from coast to coast. In recognition of his contribution, Tom
was named the Ontario Energy Association Leader of the Year and one of the original Canadian Clean 16.
Prior to founding Bullfrog Power, Tom was a management consultant with McKinsey & Co., where he led a number of engagements in the energy, mining and metal manufacturing sectors. Tom began his career as a lawyer with Goodmans and then Ecojustice. Tom has both civil and common law degrees from McGill and an undergraduate degree from Harvard.
