Kevin Woods, P.Eng. is the Director of Energy Services for the North Shore Mi’kmaq Tribal Council (NSMTC). With an industry-scale mandate, Kevin leads a team focused on advancing Indigenous inclusion in New Brunswick’s energy sector – through Nation wealth building, workforce development, and integration into supply and logistics chains. The NSMTC Energy Services Division also supports the seven Mi’kmaq Nations of the Tribal Council on their path to a net-zero future, with initiatives spanning community energy planning, building retrofits, distributed energy resources, and electrification of corporate assets.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science from Lake Superior State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. A licensed Professional Engineer with two decades of experience in the energy and built environment sectors, he champions inclusive energy solutions by aligning technical expertise with community-led goals and fostering strategic collaborations that deliver multi-generational impact.
