Patrick is from Thunder Bay and has a diverse investment and project management background, having started his career on Bay Street, and spent the last 15 years providing advisory services in northwestern Ontario. In particular, Patrick and his company North Vista Advisors focuses on helping First Nations with community capital projects, and large-scale infrastructure investment. Patrick was a founding board member for Wataynikaneyap Power and continues to act as a consultant to the 24 First Nation partnership. This $2 billion project was completed this year and connected 16 remote First Nations to the power grid. Patrick currently acts as the Implementation Officer of the 8 First Nation partnership Gwayakocchigewin LP (GLP) on the Waasigan Transmission Line Project, a $1.2 billion transmission line project between Thunder Bay and Dryden. This project is being developed in partnership with Hydro One with construction potentially starting later this year. Other projects for his First Nations clients include community buildings, roads, bridges, and renewable power projects.
