Delia Lapensée

Delia Lapensée, Senior Account Manager, Shaw Centre 

Delia is an award winning event strategist with 15 years sales and planning experience in meetings, conventions and trade shows.  Her career began with Freeman Exposition Services Canada in Ottawa, where she excelled in Exhibitor Services. Delia soon relocated to Freeman Canada’s headquarters in Toronto where she demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. Due to her high level performance, she was asked to support shows with over 500 exhibitors for other branches in cities such as Montreal, Boston and San Diego.

Delia’s background includes five years’ experience with another major convention facility, specializing in event coordination and catering services. She also held the position of National Sales Director with a major consumer expo. Her rolodex of industry contacts has been an asset to the organization since joining the Shaw Centre team in 2011.

Nominated as MPI Toronto Chapter New Member of the Year in 2018, Member of the 2017 Grey Cup Festival Programming Committee in 2017 and recipient of the Ontario Hostelry Institutes 2010 Top 30 Under 30, Delia’s passion for events is as apparent as her passion for people.  When she’s not at work, she’s probably still thinking about work or travelling the world.

Meredith Donaghey

Sales Director, Destination Toronto

A proven Sales Director in Hospitality and Tourism, Meredith Donaghey represents Destination Toronto in key U.S. markets including the Financial & Insurance, Scientific and Technology sectors. 
Before joining Destination Toronto, Meredith worked in the hotel industry for 20 years with Starwood Hotels, Marriott International and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Her career has taken her across the globe for business and personal travel, but Toronto is always home. “I’ve lived in this city my entire life and it makes me proud to share my story. Toronto’s an incredibly dynamic, innovative and inspiring destination, with amazing cuisine, opportunities and culture."

Nicola Kastner 

Global VP of Event Marketing Strategy, SAP 

Named to the Event Marketer “B2B Dream Team” and as a “Top Woman in Events,” Nicola is Global VP of Event Marketing Strategy for SAP.
 
In this role she is responsible designing event strategies that capture new audiences; drive accelerated business performance; and customer value. By applying analytics and insights to better understand attendees, their behaviors and interests, and improve engagement, she is focused on driving the continual optimization of SAP’s events, strategies, and plans.
 
During this global crisis that has impacted the events industry so profoundly, Nicola and her team are embracing the opportunity to completely redesign SAP’s event approach and portfolio of more than 1,000 events globally.

Natalie Ciarallo

Natalie brings a unique blend of experience, honing her skills over the past ten years planning events from an agency’s perspective as well as internally for Fortune 500 companies. 

Natalie has held roles as an Event Manager and Manager of Employee Experience at TD Bank where she designed and executed a variety of employee and client events across Canada and the US including roadshows, conferences, training seminars, webcasts and incentive programs. Natalie has a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Ryerson University. She currently holds her Certified meeting Professional (CMP) and is actively involved in the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Toronto Chapter.
