What will higher education look like, and what role will higher education institutions play, in the post-COVID world? What have we learned about higher education as a result of the pandemic? Which of these lessons will we wish to retain as we contemplate the future of higher education in a post-pandemic world? Reflecting on these questions will lead us to consider such topics as skills and competencies; experiential learning; access and opportunity; life-long learning; and global fluency. It also provides an opportunity to consider the future contribution of universities to local and national prosperity, and prospects for the higher education sector more broadly.
